Before I get to the previews themselves, there are a few things I would like to call your attention to for this BDB 2020 Season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><a href=\"http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"370\" data-full-url=\"http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-scaled.jpg\" data-link=\"http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/?attachment_id=370\" class=\"wp-image-370\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, http:\/\/www.belteddeep.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/design-2-2048x1367.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As we all know, I use Fangraphs WAR to measure every team\u2019s production.&nbsp;&nbsp;This year as we all know, it\u2019s going to be a bit different.&nbsp;&nbsp;My assessment of WAR for this season, is that the numbers for WAR are on the high side, especially with being prorated.&nbsp;&nbsp;Although the numbers are difficult to use when comparing to other seasons, within the current season they seem adequate to provide a viable prediction for team performance for the upcoming season.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Please keep in mind, as always when it comes time to \u201cPlay Ball\u201d there will always be nine games that come down to dumb luck.&nbsp;&nbsp;So, if your team\u2019s prediction is within nine games of the top dog, like Lloyd and Harry, you can say &#8212; \u201cSo you\u2019re sayin\u2019 there\u2019s a chance!\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this year\u2019s review, there will be three sections.&nbsp;&nbsp;The first is general comments on BDB2019 performance.&nbsp;&nbsp;This will be followed with an in-depth analysis of the upcoming year, and following that, a new section called \u201cHope for the Future\u201d which will provide you with a three-year performance review based on your current roster using the ZIPS predictive model provided by Fangraphs.&nbsp;&nbsp;This shall provide every team with a sense with how things are going and whether you are on the climb, the peak or the decline.&nbsp;&nbsp;It is a conservative model, but it gives what I believe, a pretty good indication of where you will find yourself in your own division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, I am looking forward to this upcoming season, as there is a pretty good chance, that the future BDB champion will be a first time Crown wearer!&nbsp;&nbsp;Imagine that, a first in 20 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best Luck to all teams<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commish<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>That\u2019s right, it&#8217;s Preview Time!
